A grouchy, rather zany grandfather, along with his sweet but no-nonsense wife deliver a rib-cracking performance saturated with a variety of issues surrounding several close family members. It all takes place when a terrible storm brings them together – under the same roof – at the grandparent’s home. Within a short period of time, very personal issues and conflicts are exposed, stirring a bit of an uproar. In the process of it all, to their amazement, an unknown couple shows up, with a mind-blowing experience that dazzles everybody. A miraculous event occurs as a child is born with the anointing of Christ. In complete awe, each of them come to terms with their personal problems, realizing what it means to step out of the past and grow, while vowing to fulfill their spiritual destiny. In the end, the entire neighborhood comes together and joins them in singing praises to the Heavenly King, thanking the Lord for always having a “ram in the bush!”
This Christian-reality family comedy play simply opens the heart. Even though the story is layered with laughter, and the singing soothes the soul, it is apparent that Christ is not only the reason – but also, the answer to “all” things!
